Nelson-Dye Construction opened its doors in 1956 in Orange County as a General Contractor taking on traditional commercial and residential projects. As the company grew, partner Rodney Dye recognized that there was an underserved market in the home remodeling segment of the construction industry and he began to shift the focus of the company to fill that need.

In time Nelson-Dye became a specialty firm working exclusively on home remodeling projects with an emphasis on designer kitchens. Recognizing there would always be a market for innovative design and quality craftsmanship Dye saw the firm as an opportunity to develop a business that could not only be successful, but also include the entire family in its operation.

As the company grew and prospered daughters Laurie and Kathleen, son Ken and son-in-law Gary joined the firm and learned the business from the ground up. In 1972 the company opened a division office in Fresnoand built a local reputation for innovative design and quality craftsmanship. Like its Orange County parent, the Fresno division grew and prospered.

With the growing success of the Fresno office, the company eventually moved their Orange County operations to Fresno so that today, Nelson-Dye Remodeling Specialists operates exclusively in Central California. The company continues to lead the way with cutting edge design, exceptional craftsmanship and responsible business practices so as they enter their second 50 years, they do so ready to take on the challenges of the ever-changing remodeling industry. With state-of-the-art design concepts, a service-based company policy, and a staff of highly skilled and talented employees, Nelson-Dye is well equipped to meet those challenges.

Ken Dye President / Ceo (2nd Generation)

Ken is currently President and CEO of Nelson-Dye Remodeling. Since 1970 he has estimated and coordinated over 2000 home remodeling projects. His goal is pursuing complete customer satisfaction on every job.

Deven Dye Design Consultant (3rd Generation)

Deven is the Design Consultant also specializing in Solatube skylight & attic fan applications. He will also assist you with various selections throughout the course of your project as well as coordinating and managing the finish details of your job. Making sure your dreams become a reality.
